Paul Delaquis

Hi, I’m an independent developer with a background in language teaching. I build web apps that make language learning engaging and intuitive. I'm currently based in Taipei, Taiwan.

My passion lies in designing interfaces to help users interact with foreign languages in creative, low-stress ways. Over the past year, I’ve been developing educational apps focused on vocabulary, reading, speaking and interactive storytelling, using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

I’ve trained myself in web development through online resources and hands-on experimentation, often supported by AI tools. I’m continuing to grow my skills and am especially interested in expanding into mobile and desktop app development.

Currently exploring: speech recognition, TTS interaction, and simple game mechanics to support learner engagement.
